Miosotis Alsina is the Founder and Executive Director of Y.O.U.T.H. Thrive Network of Rhode Island, bringing more than 20 years of experience in youth development,
community outreach, family engagement, program leadership, and health equity.

A bilingual community leader and mother, Miosotis understands both professionally and personally the importance of ensuring young people have caring adults, meaningful
opportunities, and the tools to confidently navigate their futures.

This work is especially close to her heart. After more than two decades of working alongside youth and families, Miosotis has seen firsthand how much a young person’s
path can change when they have access to the right guidance, relationships, resources, and opportunities.

Those experiences, combined with her perspective as a mother,
inspired her to create YTNRI.
Through YTNRI, Miosotis is committed to creating engaging, culturally responsive experiences where young people can build confidence, strengthen workforce and life skills,
develop financial capability, explore career pathways, and form meaningful connections with mentors, professionals, and community partners.

For Miosotis, YTNRI is more than an organization—it is about building the bridge between preparation and opportunity so Rhode Island youth can become better
prepared, better connected, and more confident about what comes next.
